Year 5 perform with The Multi-storey Orchestra

Enjoy Lyndhurst’s Orinoco and Volga class perform with Kender Primary school and The Multi-storey Orchestra.  They sing an original song ‘Heroes’ composed by Dani Howard and Simon Mole and talk about how they feel before and after the performance.

Plus a performance of Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture and La Follia by Vivaldi performed with a local secondary school.

Orinoco Summer 2018

Should students have to do homework?  Should there be CCTV cameras in schools?  Year 5 Orinoco class share their top tips on how to make a strong argument as well as explaining what reversible and irreversible materials are, earthquake facts and how to tackle fractions.  They have been inspired by the art and culture of Ancient Benin and the book The Story of the Blue Planet.
