Orinoco Summer 2017

The Orinoco crocodile is a critically endangered crocodile. Its population is very small and it can only be found in freshwater environments in Colombia and Venezuela, in particular the Orinoco River.

Mississippi Spring 2017

The Mississippi River is 2,340 miles long (3, 730 kilometers). It takes 90 days for a drop of water to travel the entire length of the Mississippi River.

This week (February 6-12) is Children’s Mental Health Week, so children in Mississippi class (year 6) talk about what resilience is and how to improve it, as well as mental health. The children also interviewed Ms Wheare, who explains what mindfulness is and gives some useful breathing exercises.
