This week Yangtze (year 2) describe their visit to the National Gallery, talk about mini beasts and micro-habitats (from rock pools to deserts). They also talk about The Journey Home, the book they read for Book Week and extinct animals.

A special broadcast for World Book Week!
The whole school read Journey by Aaron Becker and you can listen to the children talking about the book and coming up with alternative endings and continuing the story.
You can also hear what the children dressed up as and which are their favourite books.
The Thames has featured in many books including ‘Three Men in a Boat’, ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘The Wind in the Willows’, and Dickens’ novels, where the Thames is an unpleasant stinking sludge, the scene of many crimes.
