Amazon Summer 2017

During dry seasons, the width of Amazon ranges between 1.6 and 10 kilometers but during the wet seasons, the river’s width increases to 48 kilometers.

Rio Grande Summer 2017

The Rio Grande was the physical border in dispute between the Republic of Texas and Mexico in the 19th century. Once the Republic of Texas became a U.S. state the US invaded Mexico, in 1846.
