Maru Rojas – Radio Station Coordinator
Maru works at Grove FM on Mondays and Tuesdays, working with children across the school. Maru makes radio programmes inspired by the curriculum and children’s learning. She also runs the Radio Club and works with children from the Lyndhurst Dyslexia Learnign Centre. Her backround is in Visual Arts with an MFA Art Writing from Goldsmiths College and she has been working in schools, galleries & museums for more than 5 years.
Avvon Chambers – Radio Technician
Mr. Chambers works at Grove FM on Thursdays, he is the technical whizz, helping to record music, edit the tracks and coming up with great ideas. He graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2004. As an undergraduate he studied Drum Kit and as a post-graduate he studied Music Technology and Composition. With many years of experience performing and recording in radio he is a great edition to our team. When Mr. Chambers is not working with us at Grove Fm he can be found recording and playing drums all over the world.
Mark Sherin – Radio Station Manager
Mark is the ‘commissioning editor’ who supports us to plan and produce new learning opportunities. He believes passionately in supporting Dyslexic learners and children with literacy difficulties, allowing them to express and represent themselves and their learning in innovative ways.
